Through a Development Management Role with Hermes REIM ,the principals of Holbeck Land ,on behalf of Britel Pension Fund, secured a Master planning consent for mixed development across this key 14 acre site to the west of Leeds City Centre. The plan granted approval to the construction of 2.6 million sq. ft. of offices, residential, hotel, amenity retail and below ground cap parking. After close liaison with LCC, the success of the application was determined by the introduction of tree lined boulevards, connections to the River Aire and a central triangular public space overlooked by a redundant rail viaduct lifting tower to be restored for restaurant use.
